Cool article. I didn't know the first recorded electronic distortion was on a bass solo. Or that country top-40 songs used to have bass solos

Wow! 10+ years before Larry Graham stomped out Dance to the Music there was fuzz on a bass,,,who woulda thunk????

that was a cool article especially as a lover of the fuzz (Wooly Mammoth clone, Gnomeratron VTF, Way huge Swollen Pickle, Russian Big Muff Gutter-mouth Modded, Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz, Montreal Assembly-Wrong Side of Uranus and a Fender Sub-Lime BAass Fuzz) LOVE IT!
