HM-2 vs VT-Bass clips!

A strange comparison I know, but I got a really nice sound out of the HM-2 by setting the gain to minimum... sounds like a kind of furry Geezer Butler-esque tone. Which sound do you prefer? I'll reveal which is which later on.

Both.

Which makes sense since I have both those boxes on my board. If you put a gun to my head and told me to sell one of them, I'd probably lose the HM-2 given the versatility of the VT.

Second one. Seemed to have a little more definition to the sound with the pedal on.

By the way, the pedals are on for the entire length of the clips, but I dig in harder for more drive.

I prefer the second and I'm guessing it's the VT. The first clip sounds kinda clanky and awkward

Number 2, which I'm guessing is the VT. It sounds great when you dig in. When you dig in on the first one, it sounds farty

second one sounds more like a whole sound and not dub bass with some fuzz over top.

Will be interested in what pedal it is, and what settings were used

I like the dug in sound of number two, but prefer the lighter sound of number one.
