How do I create a patch on my Zoom B3
What I'm looking to accomplish is 2 or 3 effects box groupings with all the effects off when I select the patch... I prefer to do this on the B3 and not involve a laptop if possible. Thanks, Mal
(Not 100% sure what you mean by "effects box groupings". I think I'm reading this correctly. Seems too simple a solution, maybe I do have it wrong!)
Set up a series of patches with whatever effects you want in them and hit the three silver switches to turn them all off as you set each up.
Move on to your next patch and do the same thing.
The B3 will remember that all the effects were turned off when you used it last and next time you call those patches up the effects will be already switched off.
Is that what you want?
Yeah I got that, I was being a goof ball. Went back the the manual and it was pretty clear. Thanks for the assist!
What I was having issues with was acutally saving the patch under a new name. Mal-Synth, Mal-Flange, Mal-Vari. And it has to do with me having the unit on say A1 and trying to save and rename A1 from Mark Something to my new name. I could select A0 or A2 but not A1 ... Weird but easy to work around.
I guarantee you haven't asked as many silly questions online as I have over the years! :D
I just went and did exactly what you were doing. When you change anything in say A1 it remains saved as changed. All you have to do is hit Total--Patch Name and change it. It will be saved automatically when you exit the Total screen.
