how do i split my signal and bring them back into 1 again

Hi all

so I play some rock music with a lot of distortion on my bass
I use the ... Fulltone Bass-Drive Mosfet

But I am really frustrated about the lack of bottom and that punch you can get from your strings when you play with out the effect

So I was thinking that it would be cool to split the signal from my bass into two signals that way I could have a clean signal with all the bottom and punch from the clean sound and a signal for effects

so my questions are

1 how do I split the signal ? is there a pedal that can do this does anybody know.
2 How can I bring them back into 1 signal that can go into my amp ?
I was thinking of buying a small 2 channel mixer for this but I donīt really know yet

any feedback would be appreciated

It's called a search function pedal.

your making it more complex than it needs to be. all you need is a blend pedal. do a search for blend pedal or blender, and youll find tons of options.

Boss LS-2 (Line Selector), then use the [A+B Mix] -> [Bypass]-function.

BOSS - LS-2 A+B mix can do this, as mentioned above.

If you need up to four channels mixed together, the Wounded Paw Splitter and Mixer will do nicely.
