How do you like your phaser - before or after dirt?

I have been playing around with my dirt and phaser order, and I think I like the phaser after, but the difference in sound is very subtle, I'm not sure. How do you like it?

I definitely like my phaser after. Actually, my phase is after everything else on my pedalboard.

I also prefer after the dirt. I like dirt before everything.

Does anyone put their phaser first? The reason I ask is because of the Robert Keeley article http://www.robertkeeley.com/faq.php (down at the bottom)

That's an interesting article but some of his recommendations are a bit unusual. Wah before dirt? And if compressor comes second where do you put you envelope filter?

Isn't wah supposed to be before dirt? I think envelope filter would go before compressor like wah.

Some like it better that way but I like to subject my dirt to a good filtering, as do many others

Envelope Filters then Limiter/Comps then Dirt then chorus/phasers/flangers then EQ then Volume pedal.

This works for me for now.

If I'm running the rate really slow and the dirt is pretty input sensitive, I like it before my dirt. The sweep comes up and juuusst gets colored by the dirt before going back down and cleaning up. Cool.

Otherwise I like it after, but it doesn't hurt my feelings either way. Any place I put it, it usually makes me smile a little.
