Although I rather like Line 6 digital emulation of pedals and amps, I never was that impressed with their delay models.
If you are referring to Roland Space Echo modelling, the RE-20 does a fair job at it. But that pedal is too big for what you can get out of it.
I'm getting two Malekko Echo Bright pedal this week (300 and 600) and I am hoping they can replace my love for digital delays.
Instead of the DL-4 I rather have an old trusty BOSS DD-3 or two on my board.
Not that the DL-4 is that bad of a pedal, but I want it more simple in my effect chain.
(Except for the tremelo I have on order, that's going to be a psychedelic complicated beast. It's white and I think I will get a lot of envy from the regulars in the effects forum.
