Question how does this sound?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am new to the effects world. I know what sounds I want.
I like to call it "an organ falling down a flight of stairs"

So i got a korg pitch black, an ehx pog2, a boss dd20, and a bass muff.

I was wondering how i should arrange these on my board.. which i am home making haha.

I was thinking korg with the muff. and they can share power. then the pog. then the delay/ loop to finish it off that way i can get all the effects in the delay if i choose. any one see a problem with this?

and i am using a furman power strip for the time being. should that be good enough?

I would go tuner - pog - muff - delay. You can then use the tuner as a mute an let the delay fade out.

Don't other pedals get in the way of fuzz? They should be first in the chain I thought.

Not so much. I like my octave fuzzed, not my fuzz octaved, the next guy would come along and say the he likes the opposite.

most fuzzes don't have to be first in your chain. The only exception are the fuzz-face-based (which are usually germanium-trannies) pedals that need a really high-impedence input signal. Muffs are fine anywhere.
