How to get this particular sound?

How do I get THIS sound. Listen to lazyeyedcyclops and at 0:57 a new sound comes in. That sound is what I am after.

Also, spookyjuice at 0:29 the low end blown out distorted sound is fantastic. Really, I have never heard anything like it.

Compression--Envelope filter---Distortion pedal--?

BTW, He has a crazy handle on groove!

The swell can be done with a reverse delay or slow gear effect.
Big compression, some kind of fuzz, add a down filter for good measure and you're done.
