How ID Boss pedals with no label?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a couple of Boss pedals (CEB-3 & OC-2) that previous owners had peeled the labels off and added velcro. I also have an MIT HM-3 with a black label, but no SN decal. So, besides the SN decal inside the battery compartment of some pedals, how else can I determine their date of manufacturing if the label is gone?

Many Boss pedals have a date written on the circuitboard.
