How to link up the effect properly?

Sign in to disble this ad
I currently have 3 pedal that i would like to link up on my warwick pedal board. The board can link up to max 4 pedal, I'm not really a heavy effect user.

Here is what I got:

1) Zoom B2 (no expression pedal version)
2) Boss 7 band EQ (For slap sound only)
3) MXR M80

I consider adding a footswitch to the B2 soon.

So i was wondering whats the best way to link up these pedal on my board?

Actually there is no "best way". Not only is pedal-order all about personal preferences anyway, but in the specific case of those three pedals, there is no real benefit to any order you might place them.

I guess the exceptions would be: if you use the compressor on the B2, you might want to put the M80 after the B2 in order to keep the bright edge of the overdrive; and if you use the DI built into the M80 then you prob. want it last in the chain.

Personally I would use them in the order you just listed them
