How to make my ring mod silent?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have Way Huge Ringworm which is awesome except of one thing - you can always hear carrier signal. I'm curious is there any way to make it silent as Moog ring mod. I also have Copilot Android but carrier leakage there is not that annoying. Maybe you know some pedal builders who I could ask about it?

A properly set noise gate would do the trick, but could have an effect on the decay of your notes. IIRC the IE Frantabit sample rate sounds exactly like ring modulation and it is gated.

Turn it off.

Or get an ISP G-String, that thing is great at silence.

I had FrantaBit, it didn't do the trick for me although it's perfectly silent.
I thought about noise gate but if it's possible to mod Ringworm itself it'd be better.
