Should there be a certain order or is this fine. I may be getting an NS-2 also and I am assuming that would be last in line before the amp and a TU-2 would go before the overdrive?

Bass -> Tuner -> NS-2 Input -> NS-2 send -> EQ -> OD -> Chorus -> NS-2 Return -> NS-2 Output -> Amp.
The loop of the NS-2 is really its strength, in my opinion. It senses the input from your bass, and doesn't let any sound through from the loop if the input signal isn't high enough. |

To the OP
Is the EQ on all the time?
if so I'd go
Bass->Tuner->EQ->OD->Chorus->NS-2-> amp

The NS-2 has a loop,
The LS-2 has 2 loops.
That's why the LS-2 is a loop selector, or line selector. |

I think equalizing does wonders if it is placed before a drive-pedal. |

I go from bass-->compressor-->envelope filter-->distortion/overdrive-->phaser-->chorus-->boost-->amp.

I think that Boss kind of dropped the ball on the layout of this pedal, but it really works well. I just have it on my Pedaltrain, so the X doesn't show. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
