I vae 2 pedals that I always use - TU-2 and BBE Opto Stomp. I toss them, the cables, and the AC adapter in my gig bag and hook them up every gig.
I don't need a big or fancy board. I don''t know if I need a board at all.
I was thinking it would be nice to have these 2 pedals mounted on just a small piece or something so I could leave the patch and AC cords attached to save a little set up time, hassle and maybe soem wear and tear on cables and jacks. I'd still like to be able to slip it in my gig bag though.
What do you all think? I piece of scrap plywood, some Velcro and "ta-da" a mini board? |

So, I built a pedalboard big enough to fit a Korg Pitchblack, Sansamp VT and another small "nano" sized pedal...trying to decide whether to use my El Grande or get a Submarine to fill the final spot for my on-the-go board. It's nice because I grab it, plug in the one-spot and play. |

The board is light-weight and comes with a bag.
It is plug-in and go. I use a Boss PSA120 for the power. It plugs into a plug which is on a OneSpot daisy chain. Powers the board just fine.

I put some rubber feet on it, and it worked great. I still hanker for that simplicity sometimes. |

I think a piece of plywood, plastic, whatever that's 6"X8" will hold the 2 pedals and still fit in my gig bag. |

My board is a little bigger, but that's exactly what I did...a piece of 1/4" scrap plywood sprayed black, a few pieces of velcro, a little duct tape around the edges to prevent splinters, and viola! Pedalboard!

Pedalboard! | This seems like the way to go. I'm going to make it big enough for the pedals only. They both run off the TU-2 so I can just toss that adapter in the bag, too. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
