How would YOU adjust the levels on MY rig? fender p, ampeg svt3pro, boss pedals

How would you advise I adjust the levels on my equipment? I am very excited to have my first Fender and first Ampeg head!

My Goal: I want a clean and loud sound for playing classic hard rock and melodic heavy metal like Iron Maiden. I want to take special advantage of the Ampeg tube tone and the special mid controls on my bass. I want to use the limiter and EQ pedals regularly. I also want to use my distortion and chorus pedal effects optionally.

My Gear (pics below hopefully):
Fender deluxe precission bass (brand new 2011!)
Ampeg svt 3-pro
Cabinets: 4x10 gallien krueger, 18" peavey eminence
Boss pedals (chorus, EQ, overdrive, limiter)

Specific knobs:
bass - volume, dynamic effect between neck and bridge, treb/bass, mid boost
amp head - bright, hi, and lo buttons; gain/volume, bass/mid/treb, mid frequency (1-5), tube, optional EQ
chorus pedal - e level, low filter, rate, depth
overdrive pedal - bass/treb, balance, gain
compressor - level, enhance, ratio, threshold

Which of these switches would you turn up, middle or down? Thanks for your input! I am trying to have a good ear for my bass sound.
