How would you power my pedals?

I use only a few pedals, so I don't bother with power supplies, batteries are quick and easy for me.

My current "board" is a Boss TU-2 tuner, EBS Multidrive and an EHx Micro Pog. The Micro Pog is annoying in that it can't be powered by a battery. I might switch the Micro Pog with a Unibass depending on the jam situation.

For simplicity, I am thinking of dumping batteries all together. I lost my Boss chain cable a long time ago. If you had to power the above pedals, which would you use? They all (except for the Unibass) use the same adapter, and I only have one.

I have all my pedals (except the MF-101) daisy chained, so I suggest you get a OneSpot.

I already have the power supply, so I just need the daisy chain. Why would the One Spot be better than the daisy chain? Isn't it already a daisy chain? Why pay three times the price?

Because you said you "don't bother with power supplies". A One Spot is a skinny wallwart with an attatched daisey chain. What is it you want, then? You asked.

I have: Bassballs, Polyphase, Bass Microsynth (reissue), Pigtronix EP-1 and OFO

so 2x24v, 1x12v, 1x15v, and 1x9v

And i'm not done with gear yet.

I have a feeling that I'll be resigned to a power bar until I get a power supply that handles a few strange voltages or getting gear that is volatage specific.

I bet I'm not alone on this.

Yeah, some pedals run on odd voltages, (not really odd, just different from standard 9volts), so sometimes it creates a mess. Another option might be a powered pedalboard. One that has isolated 9VDC plugs, as well as several 120VAC plugs for the odd wall warts. There are several available, such as the bif Furmann or SKB boards. Only downside, (other than the size), is the fact they're "flat" boards, meaning all cable runs are on the surface, rather than hidden away underneath like on Pedaltrains and such. It's a trade-off, but maybe the best solution in this case. It worked for me when I ran a big board full of oddball pedals.

See, this kind of stuff freaks me out, cause I'm using a daisy chain off of a Zoom wall wart, and I'm always afraid that something's going to melt or fry.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for the "Only use the recommended power supply" warning.
