Huge pedal boards?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm a total pedal n00b, and I was looking through the Post Your Pedal Board XI.

I was wondering what styles of music really require all those pedals!?

Links are appreciated. =]

A ton of different sounds available make the music more interesting to some.

That and a lot of those guys are in either a drum and bass group, a solo bass act, or a three piece. They use those pedals to fill out the sound.

I'm in an AC/DC cover band, which is why my ring modulator is absolutely essential.

Yeah, that long thread you made about how useless pedals are really turned my world upside down. Talk about a gear epiphany!

If your in a band where the bass is lead, then you need some pedals to keep your sound interesting, and DIFFERENT for each song.

If your a studio player, especially if your like, the first or second call guy in your area, you need to be able to recreate more or less any sound. A wide range of pedals can only help that.
