Hi again,
I am thinking of getting a (used) Tube Factor.
As you see below, my amp is a SS with a very clear ad definite sound.
I have been always wishing a warmer sound with a slight tube distorsion. And I think that I can reach that sound by means of a true tube preamp.

I am now concerned about the possible typical "genetical" failures that an old tube factor gets after being used a lot... since i'll get it used (ebay...)
Dunno, tube gets to worn, or leds get kaputt, or connections could get weak...

any experience with this nice pedal? Any suggestions / alternative? The price I think i will pay for will be aroun 120€ used.

It has been a while since I had mine, but remember likeing it alot. Great range of tones. 120 euro converts to about 155 dollars which is a good price for a full functional unit with no issues.

The cons are the size and the dedicated transformer needed to power it.
