but i sure haven't seen anything like it. i watched it twice and i'm still captivated. it was done using an iPod touch and an EHX HOG, and im sure a whole lot of thinking. is this the future?

Yeah, it's popped up before It is TouchOSC. Basically just controlling software effects over Wifi using the Touch.

EDIT: There is a lot more involved than just an ipod and the HOG. Software, control voltages, wifi network etc.

That's pretty nifty. It looks like a lot of work, and quite a bit of equipment to get all that set up, but it's certainly the kind of thing I would do if I could afford it.
