I got to try this pedal in NYC recently at 30th street guitars. I had been wanting to play it for a while and finally got the chance.

WOW. what a cool pedal. i definately want one. I've heard it being called a bassballs clone with more adjustability before. unfortunately i've never played with the bassballs trimmers or with the enigma. so no comparisons available there.

TONE. i was pleasantly surprised to find this filter doing mostly synthy-esque, fuzz/filter combo, and talkbox filter (think korg g5 vocal filter type settings) tones on the pedal. not good as a stand-alone filter or fuzz, the unit is more like a bassballs with the distortion turned on.

anyone else try one?

FWIW, the eq points on the Bassballs' internal trimmers are better suited for guitar. They really bring out the clank and gank on bass, which sounded really harsh and abrasive to my ears. I don't find them very useful.

Sort of. I had a chance to try out an old Colorsound Dipthonizer which I am 97.4% sure the Little Dipper is based on. But I only tried it on guitar so I was very curious how it (and the TWA) would sound on bass.

I'd still love to hear some bass samples.
