Not to derail this thread, but how many fuzz face variants are there that work well on bass. I figure Burgermeister and Mark Olson (and maybe bongo - I know he likes Fuzz Faces) are probably the best guys to ask.
I always seem to like their tone, but have never found one that worked really well, especially with active basses. |

But due to the effects of the paint stripper and getting 3 hrs of sleep last night cause I was up late stripping the paint off of a bass and having a long day, the title of the thread has me giggling and laughing like an idiot and I cannot stop.
