I had a CE-2 I bought in 1979 that I sold for $100.00 recently here on talkbass.
They have a unique sound but I don't think they work well for bass unless you use a splitter so you can mix in the dry signal .... IMHO

I agree man. I play guitar in one band and bass in another. I mostly bought this for guitar.
