Thumbs up I just got WHAT in the mail!?

I have the greatest girlfriend in the world.

I've been saving up for a HOG for the past... well, since I've known about them, talking about it all the time to anyone who'll listen, etc, typical GAS, I know.

Well a package just arrived in the mail at work for me. I didn't order anything, so had no idea what it could be, but when I cracked the packing box open, sure enough, HOG staring me in the face!

I haven't been this excited in a very very long time, but I knew that just about the only people who would actually appreciate it congregate here, so yeah... man... nearly speechless... I'm going to do some experiments and post the results soon, but TGIF so I can get out of here and PLAY with the thing!!!!

Okay, I'll refrain from the sexual innuendo, as hard as that might be to do, but....I do have to say that that girlfriend is a keeper for sure. Congratulations!

Congrats man, I'm currently in saving-up-for-a-HOG mode as well. I'd love to hear some more clips of the filter section, and the freeze/vol and freeze/gliss modes if you have any sort of recording setup.

I'm having trouble keeping the jokes to myself too... but yes, she's def. a keeper!

I'll figure out a way to record onto my CPU and will def. do examples of the filter section, the freeze/vol and freeze/gliss.

Harmonic Octave Generator. It's an Electro-Harmonix effect, and, when combined with its footswitch and an expression pedal, is like a super-powerful version of the Digitech Whammy. I do not own such a combination, largely because the three pedals cost over $600, but they are on my to-buy list.

But, cool girlfriend.

I've hit a HOG or two in my day, but I would never go as far as calling them my girlfriend.

Right on. Nice score, both the girl and the shiny new box.

Wait... his girlfriend has a volume control, freeze mode, and gliss mode?!?

She sounds like she's built for the practical man.

Can I borrow your girlfriend for like a week? I'd love some new EHX pedals.
