I saw this guy last night. One of the most amazing performances I've ever seen. he had an 8-string Rick, and 3 pedalboards, containg no less than about 4 DD-20's and about the same number of Digitech JamMans, some sort of Vocal effects processor, a Boss SD-2 Super Overdriver, NYC Big Muff, Whammy, Boss NS-2, I think a BF-2 or BF-3Flanger, an SL-20 Slicer and, like, some other thing.

At first I was like:

But then I was like:

Then I was like:

my friend turned to me, while we were watching, and said "Dude, this is you in five years."

I JUST FIXED THE LINKS

His bass sound prompted me to go looking for an 8 stringed Rickenbacker. I never usually like their sound at all, but he has beastly tone! What a rock sound.

Brian is a super rad dude, i've played shows with him many times over the years. He is extremely creative, has great gear, and is friendly as all get out.

Make sure you check out his other stuff, it's awesome:

www.myspace.com/trephine

Also, hope you caught Stinking Lizaveta, they're pretty rad as well. That chick wails on the drums. And while you're at it, one more band to check out, one of my biggest influences: KEELHAUL!!!

I was there for all 3 bands. Stinking Lizaveta almost blew my face off, which had been loosened by Suzukiton and Darsombra.
