this is my Jazz through the Compulator, Blueberry, and Assmaster. i'm playing with a pick and aiming right between the pickups.
the SR-16 drum machine is going through the Compulator, Neo Fuzz, and FL301 flanger.

please excuse my bad timing.

enjoy!

I like that too. I could see that having use in a real-world setting. It'd have to be a pretty aggressive real-world setting, but usable nonetheless.

i love TB FX.

thanks for the comments!
i just listened back and realized that i should re-record that clip when i'm more focused (read: sober). maybe next time i can play with the drum machine, rather than fight with it.

I've been looking at getting an Alesis some day. How do you find it?

it depends what you're looking for. if you dig the classic bad drum machine sound, then it's awesome!

there are many better drum machines out there, really (i like the Roland DR-880)... but you can't beat the price of the SR-16. i wish the pads were a little bit bigger and more sensitive, but it does its job well enough and it's very easy to use.

easy to use with some nice presets to start with would be what im looking for at this stage. Preferably not too pricey either. I really want a drum machine to mess with, but don't really want to spend the cash. Too many other effects on the GAS list

I dig that tone. Focused but still edgy..

I also dig the sound. I have a feeling that it wouldn't sound good with a faster riff, but that's exactly the sound that unleashes the ominous power of the line you were playing.

On the drum machine front, I would recommend a software one unless you have a specific reason for needing a hardware drum machine. I sold my SR16 (which I loved at the time by the way, and I didn't sell it without sampling every single drum hit from it) and gave away my Boss DR202, because software is generally easier for me. You might as well look at the free drum machine progs out there before you buy a hardware one.

Nice job, jetpack. The sound is great, and the slow heavy groove rolls pretty well.

Don't overlook the value of...uhhh..."un-focused" creativity. This song was recorded by myself during a night of getting "un-focused" with my buddy Jack Daniels. I've done some processing and EQ tweaks, but the raw tracks remain intact as recorded. I created the drum track within my recording/sequencing software (Cubase).

Dig it. Makes me want to partake in an illegal substance.

EDIT: Just noticed your profile picture, La Fin Du Monde is AWESOME, even if I do prefer Maudite.
