I love my Depth Charge

I wanted everyone to know that. Anyone else love these things. It is my absolute favorite fuzz pedal and I would run into a burning building to save it.

My MXR Blowtorch would probably set that building afire.

Not arguing with you there. It's on my list of favorites.

I tried one in a store along with a woolly mammoth and was totally let down by both pedals. Maybe it was my warwick. Maybe it was the stores crappy fender combo amp. Maybe those two pedals just don't do what I was expecting.

I'm pretty sure it was one that could tilt back. I've encountered them before and I have to say, there are a lot of guitar amps I'd rather play bass through.

No offense intended but this box of bees had no depth at all for me personally. I sold it for the painful price of 50 heads o lettuce; shoulda sold it here on the classifiied. Any case, it gave me somewhat of an old skool fireHose mike Watt tone if anyone cares; and y'all should cuz he's wicked BAD! Oh well, life is suffering, tee hee Ha Ha!

I'm not sure I understood what you said, but I sure like how you said it.

As someone who used to own a 70's Big Muff and sold it (at a tremendous profit), I don't understand the fuzz bass thing at all. Are these new-generation fuzzes less mosquito-y than the Big Muff?

I use it on both the songs on my bands site...myspace.com/boheraldmusic. The guy who mixed these recordings did a less than good job but the Depth Charge came through pretty well. You hear it clear as day at the beginning of the second song. So you can tell me what kind of insect it sounds like as compared to the 70's Muff.

A slightly bigger mosquito It's a cool tone for that type of music, but very much like what I used to get from my Big Muff blended with a clean signal.
