I modded my Q-tron today!

Not a major deal. I replaced the DPDT with a 3PDT, and changed the LED for the power. Now, when I hit the switch and engage the pedal, power light comes on. Disengage the pedal and light goes out.

I'm pretty stoked, seeing how until yesterday I'd never used a soldering iron. Oh, I also used this thread for reference:When is my Q-Tron on?

If anyone's interested in the "how to," feel free to drop me a line. If I can do it, you can do it!

Oh, total cost? About $8.50 US.

I'd like to put mine in a smaller box as well the bypass/led mod. I also wish there was a 9 volt mod. I've been looking for something smaller but haven't had much luck finding that greasy juicy sound in a convenient form. So far I've tried the Maxon AF9 and EBS BassIQ. The Maxon was nice and punchy but the filter was not as interesting, sort of plain vanilla. The EBS is certainly closer but is extremely tame compared to the Q-tron.
