i need a back plate to my vintage ehx hot tubes

i bought this vintage ehx hot tubes on ebay and didn't know it didn't come with a back plate. so mine is missing it and i was wondering if someone has a busted ehx pedal they wouldn't mind parting with the back. i'd be willing to compensate.

any other ideas? the dude who sold it told me how to make one. unfortunately i don't own a machine shop

i contacted ehx and they said they don't have any since they just do the XO series thing.

interesting... so does that REALLY mean that we'll never see more manufacture of the folded-aluminum enclosure ehx pedals again?

Funny, but EHX still makes the Deluxe Electric Mistress, Stereo Polychorus, and a couple of other bent-plate pedals. Why on earth would they tell you otherwise?

the thing is, those are manufactured already and sitting in inventory. I don't think they are really manufacturing anything new with those enclosures anymore. Isn't that basically the message they sent with the release of the XO DMM?

exactly. i'm sure their inventory is very high, which is why they're sell them off.

polychorus is the only one and deluxe electric mistreess (already have a regular though) to not get the XO treatment.

I would love an XO Polychorus, assuming it had an exp input like many of the others- they're scaled well for use with the MP201, and I already have a bigbox polychorus that I really like and it would save me the trouble of finding one of the few unattainable/unaffordable cv flangers out there.
