I need some help with my setup

Hi i'm looking for a 80's hard rock or heavy metal sound like Skid Row or Motley, i've got a Fender P-bass deluxe, boss bas overdrive, Aphex punch factory, tech 21 sans amp bass driver DI and an MXR phase 90, my amp is a Markbass Littlemark 3 Tube and i have no cab. Can any one give me some tips on how to conect an set up to get the kind of sound i need? any thing i should add or take out of my rig? i was thinking of changing the Boss bass overdrive for an Electro-harmonix bass big muff, but well i guess i will just wait for and answer. thanx guys.

The bass big muff would be good, but the sans amp's have a built in mid scoop which can be counter productive. The tech21 VT bass pedal is my choice for the old SVT grind. My choice for a cabinet would be an ampeg 8x10 if you have help moving it around, or a 6x10. The rest of your gear looks good to me.
