I need a stomp box built

that has a large flashing light that blinks "BASS SOLO!", and will selectively mute other amps and PA channels during the bass solo, to block unwanted guitar noodling and yakking. Also will prevent other band members from talking to each other during said bass solo and losing track of where they are in the song.

If you can come up with such a stomp box then you will be a very wealthy man! Also have it give a mild electric shock to the guitar player if they try to play during your solo!

...in the hand of a very large man with an Italian name and wearing all black, staring at the rest of the band members and a hair-trigger.

If my guitarist did anything during one of my solos other than just keep playing the rhythm line, they'd be looking for a new bassist. That kind of thing is NOT cool.

A clean boost or three should fix the problem.

I think you need one of Nigel's custom Marshall amps from This Is Spinal Tap, it sounds like you're at 10 and have nowhere to go.

you need trap doors installed on the stage, hit the "bass solo" button and everyone else kinda goes . . . . . away!

had the idea of mounting a contact type Taser on the headstock and re-locating the trigger button to the bass body... just push the headstock against the offender and hit the button.....

Bluegrass bass players have been doing solos for decades. That little one measure turn-around to return to the A-part? That is a solo.
