I really like the Markbass Compressiore

Sign in to disble this ad
Bought myself an early Christmas gift this year. After trying out a few compressor pedals over the years that all seemed to "work", I was really (happily) surprised with the markbass compressiore. I really enjoy dialing in my tone so accurately -- much better than before. After playing around with it for a while, it was like all of a sudden "I got it" when it comes to compression. My overall sound is tighter and tons more even. Anybody else like this pedal as much as I do?

others I've tried

I like BBE pedals and for years used the Opto Stomp. I also tried a BBE vintage "Benchpress" compressor. They seemed to work fine and were simple to use but I can't say I really "heard" a difference. I also tried the Electro Harmonix Bass Metaphors but didn't like it too much due to line noise and and difficulty finding and exact "sweet spot"
