I want to modify my Morley Pro Series Wah pedal.

I have Morley Pro Series Wah pedal, which is black colored on its whole body, written "MORLEY" red on the pedal and has one "Level" knob on the left side of the pedal. It's a cool stuff and it allows me to get a nice angry-wah effect(like Cliff Burton did). Here's my sound sample

But one thing, its pedal range is not that wide than Cliff's thing(vintage, chrome Tel-ray power wah series).
Though it gives me a decent wah effect, but there's a little difficulty when controlling it. The range is rather short than the vintage one so it quickly reaches from one side to the other side. The vintage one has so much wider range that might get an adult's fist under the pedal(when it opened fully). So I want to know if I can modify the modern one just like the old one, to open wider than now. I've already looked inside the pedal and I found that there are four holes(2 holes attaches the pedal itself to the bottom with bolts and remaining 2 holes). But the four holes are on the same height so even though I move the pedal toward another holes the range would remain the same... Is there any way to make it wider??
