Ibanez BB9 Bottom Booster - What kind of 'boost'?

Hi guys, any thoughts about this pedal? Is it a normal booster or just low freq boost like the Mole?

I find it relatively affordable here IDR 750K (about USD 80 sumthin)..

It's probably a gain boost design for guitar. I haven't tried this pedal before, but I'm guessing it would sound pretty cool on bass.
