Ibanez CS-9 Noise?
Sign in to disble this ad
I recently traded for a vintage Ibanez CS-9 chorus. The chorus sounds great, but I hear hiss when it's working. Is this normal, or is something wrong with it?

Analog choruses, especially old ones, do tend to hiss.

I gather you can swap out the older 741 op amp with a newer one with less noise, but I'd probably blow something up.
