Ibanez DE-7 echo / delay mod for bass

I was checking out my pedals after reading a member's page that reviews probably every compression pedal there is. Because of this, I was specifically comparing the bypass with taking the pedal out all together. I found the Ibanez DE-7 in bypass mode (I guess on as well) rolled of a lot of lows. Has anyone else noticed this? It is quite noticable. I also read from that compression review site that you can mod pedals. Does anyone know specifically what I can do for this?

Although there are a great many frx pedals that reduce the lows, delay pedals are not typically among them. If your DE-7 is actually cutting the lows from your signal, I'd suggest getting another delay. A digital delay puts out exactly what you put in it. I even use an analog MXR delay w/ bass, and have never experienced any loss of low end.

This look about right?

There are input and output capacitors that can often be changed to bring back low end, but that is very much a shot in the dark with no guaranteed result. You could put it in a true-bypass loop, or get a new delay.
