Ibanez Metal Charger

Anyone ever try one of these on a bass? I found one in my closet the other day, I'm curious to see what it does. I'm sure it's a tone sucker in bypass mode, but I'm curious what it can do anyway.

Hahah I found it in my closet after god knows how many years of non-use. I don't even know where it came from to be honest.
