I did Search but all the links i found we're broken.
Help me out with some soundclips of the Ibanez PD7 Phat Hed...i can only ifnd the ones on the MF website.

these are the max settings only, i.e. you can roll back off but not get more distortion/OD out of the PD7. Not a real hi-fi recording either, sorry.

These are clips from a "neutral" project I have going. "78" has the PD7 on all the time with the AW7 in the beginning and end. Six Eight Groove has it during the middle

I've only been able to use it on overdrive mode with the drive set maxed at 4, I usually leave the drive turned down as far as it goes since theres no blend knob, and it just gives it a grunge-type sound.
Or on distortion mode with the distortion cranked when I wanna do For Whom the Bell Tolls or Anesthesia, it pulls that off nicely.
If I had any good recordings I'd send em your way, but unfortunately, I dont. This is a pretty popular and cheap pedal, I'd look to just go try it out at a store to get your sample sounds. |

Yep, after trying for about 167 years, it's the only good one I've come up with. The rest make people ill. I think the pedal is the best of the "cheapies" becuase you can use it as a clean boost and has seperate bass and treble controls
