Ibanez PH7 - good for bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just looking through local classifieds, one of these came up for a decent price and I'm trying to satisfy my pedal binge with yet another...

Harmony Central reviews are good on this one, but they're all for guitar. How does it translate to bass and should I instead look to a Phase90 or Small Stone?

Usually any phaser is fine for bass, its chorus and flangers that take different frequencies, so you should be fine

I've been looking into this pedal as well, I'm a big Mars Volta fan and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez uses this pedal

Thanks for the replies. I didn't know that about phasers not targetting the frequency spectrum.
The seller didn't get back to me so I'm assuming it has been sold a the ad was about 3 days old when I found it.
I might look into a Phase 90 down the track perhaps, need to stop buying so many pedals!!!

Turns out the pedal is still for sale and I've met the guy before, he's mates with our guitarist. He reckons he can bring it over for me to try. Small world!
