The Ibanez pt-9 seems like a rare pedal to find. if you're thinking of purchasing it, give it a shot. it might have some impressive sound quality like all the other Ibanez pedals.

Ok so it just got in today! I just played it with bass and guitar, and I think its decent overall. On bass it is not as chewy and deep as the small stone, and also cannot get the broad sweep of a phase 90. But it fits right in the middle. Its pretty subtle, in between the phase 45 and phase 90. The Depth and Feedback knobs are pretty useful for dialing in the amount of depth you would like. However the really cool thing is the range of the speed knob. It can go from lightning fast to OMFG slow. On the slowest setting I think it literally took about 30 seconds to go through the phasing motion. It is seriously a good option for people who wanted the phase 90 to be that much slower. Finding the exact speed you want is kind of difficult in the faster settings because of this, but once you find it its pretty decent. For 55$ I don't think I could have found a better phaser. Oh and if you play guitar, it seriously is great on guitar as well.

Oh also, make sure if you run dirt before it, that it is analog. I have a few analog and a few digital distortions, and the phaser dislikes digital distortions bad. And I cannot clip this pedal like I can the input of the Phase 90.

I bought an Ibanez PT9 back in 1982(ish). It and a TS9 were my only effects for YEARS. My current board has a Maxon PT9 pro+ which is an updated version of the PT9... Maxon designed and built the vintage Ibanez stomp boxes.

That's cool. I like how the Ibanez cs-9 chorus pedal sounds on bass. I've heard a sound sample of that pedal on the wiki section on this site. it has a pretty cool sound. it's pretty smooth and lushful.
