Ibanez Weeping Demon - Review

Sign in to disble this ad
Just posting this if anyone was thinking about getting this pedal. First off I am so so pleased with this pedal I dont think i could be happier. It handles lows like a beast (I have no problem getting great sounding wah on my low B string) and fantastic highs. The tone of the pedal is so good, It's funky if you want it to be, metal if you want it to be, vintage if you want. Another thing is that it sounds good with distortion.

Overall great wah 10/10 for me.

Honestly I don't know why more people are not using this wah....it has a bass specific setting, and for around the price tag of around $100.00 IMHO it just cannot be beat

it does classic and modern and has features that just cannot be found in other pedals of it's ilk...

not to mention the fact that it is optical not mechanical, and you can push the pots down inside the body so that you don't bump your settings on accident is a huge plus....

anyway i dig it...

Really in-depth review you've got going on here. And yes, I am being sarcastic.
Maybe you should tell us a little bit more about what you paid for it, what distortion you're using, which other wahs you are comparing it to, since it's getting a perfect 10?

10/10 for the pedal.

1/10 for the review, could do better. Seriously, I wouldn't buy anything because of a review like that.

Pics, sound clips, comments on construction, finish, versatility, settings, features etc...

AHH the weeping demon is sick. ive had mine for a few months now and i love it more every time i use it. im surprised more bass players dont use it, its so versatile. footswitch or auto-on modes, regular and lowpass modes, everything about that wah is tweakable...

Tried one of the two that my old guitar player had. Didn't find it all that useful at the time. I may have to find one again and give it another go. Just have to hide if from wifey

I had one back when I was still a guitar player. I ended up selling it, because I found it a lot more noisy than I like. bzzzrrrhhmmzzz. Plus, it could fill up Godzilla's footprint it's that huge.

The noise may have stemmed from the cheapass rig I was rocking at the time though.
