I have the chance to get one of these for a decent deal from a friend, and I want to know what you think of them on bass. ITs either this, or the Dunlop 105Q.

Im a funk/classic rock bassist.

While I haven't tried the 105q personally, I stand by the Weeping Demon. Solid pedal, very versatile, great sound. The only possible con would be the space it takes up in the pedalboard. Well worth it tho, imo.

Do a forum search, you'll find lots of info on both pedals.

I know, I know about the Search function. Just I want my own information. Information from yesterday could be wrong today. Right?

That is honestly the only thing Im worried about.. the space it takes up. My board isnt HUGE, so that may be a problem.

I can get it, in the box, used 3 times, for $60 with all instructions, etc. Good deal?

My buddy just let me take his Weeping Demon home to try so I have a 105Q and a Weeping Demon right now. The Ibanez is way more versitile than the Dunlop. Very bass friendly and super tweekable. It is way bigger than the 105Q though. The big footswitch on the side makes it seem huge on a small board. Awesome wah though.
$60... cant really go wrong.

The footswitch on the side is what makes it worth it... The thing that no one talks about that this pedal can do is that it can be like a Submarine/Dark Boost/Mole/Screaming Bird/Whatever Freq boost pedal you can think of. Just put the wah into "Footswitch" mode, find the frequency you want to boost with the wah rocker and leave it there and hit the foot switch to shut the wah off. Then when you need to boost that frequency (if you left the wah rocker untouched) just hit the footswitch again and WALAH! your boosting your selected frequency again!

It's like 4 (or more) pedals in ONE!

PS. With some tweaking... it can also be an overdrive

A huge favor would be if someone would give me a close approximation of the size, so I can see if it would fit on my board.

Please and thank you.

It's about 6" wide x 10" tall... That's my guess, don't have an exact measurement.
