| | | | As a kid I was a bit of a dinosaur nerd, so I just have to correct some things...brachiosaurus was a big sauropod, but doesn't mean "thunder lizard." That was "brontosaurus," but that was actually a mix-up of the skeleton of an apatosaurus and a diplodocus---so it's either considered "not real" or an apatosaurus.
I was going to suggest seismosaurus instead ("earth shaking lizard")---but apparently this is now considered a diplodocus?
To echo earlier suggestions, I LOVE "Compsognathus" for a compressor. Someone said "Stegosaurus Sawtooth" for fuzz, I say why not a synth? Some other options, thinking about fins or sails as waveforms: Spinosaurus and Dimetrodon (the latter is not technically a dinosaur, though).
Working in an Ankylosaurus somehow would be nice, but I can't think of what effect I would associate with "armor."

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

Working on a bass fuzz right now, a MOSFET overdrive for guitar, an analog delay with tap tempo and modulation, and a Marshall Guv'nor clone for a buddy on here (modded for bass of course!). |

| The color suggestions would make great pedal names!

| | | | More dinosaur nerdery---what everyone thinks as a "Velociraptor" from Jurassic Park is actually closer to a Deinonychus (author Michael Crichton used a different classification scheme that was debated at the time). I always like "Deinonychus" as a name better.
