Ideal Chain Order..

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all.. I have a few effects for a pedal board and just wanted any input on my pedal board. Currently the order is:

Bass > Bass 105Q Wah Pedal > MXR Grande Bass Fuzz > MXR Envelope Filter > MXR Carbon Copy

From what I read, that sounds pretty ideal. The main question I had was with the wah - is it better to get the wah through the clean signal, or use the wah after effects like fuzz/envelope are in place?

Thanks in advance!!

Wah position is a matter of taste. Some prefer it first in the chain, some like in the end.

Yeah I agree with the post above. The other effects are in order. The wah commonly is placed either directly before or directly after the fuzz - it is a matter of taste.
