IE Oxide trouble

I recently got a new bass (Pedulla Rapture JJ ). It is the first active bass I have played through my Oxide and compared to my passive Fender it sounds poor. It frequently suffers massive, spontaneous low end loss for a second or two, large variance in volume level or may even cut out. This also seems to happen more frequently when I play faster. I vaguely recall hearing that Brassmaster-esque circuits do not agree with active basses...?

Basically, is there anything I can do about this? Or am I SOL?

If I were you, the first thing I would check is the batteries(of the bass/pedals if you run it with batteries). Something similar happened to me around the time I made some changes to my chain and naturally I thought that something is wrong there. So...change batteries....that may be the thing. If they're good.... somebody will have an idea by the time you are sure its not that=)

Problem solved! Just changed the battery in my bass and it now works fine. Talk about an easy fix! Thanks so much for your help.
