I'm glad you read the original post. So understanding the guy was interested in our one-and-only type pedals, why...you know what, it's not worth it. Guess I'll just stick to reporting ignorant posts instead of replying to them.

Probably the VT Bass. I'm curious about the b3k, but can't really part with the money required to buy it, in my current situation. Maybe in a couple years...

I'm curious about that as well, and since I already own the most expensive part (the ipad), I'd like to try it someday. Is there any definitive thread comparing those solutions when used for bass? I'd be especially interested in something that could be controlled with an external pedal controller (something like a very simple, preferably passive looper). Sorry for the thread hijack.

In the interest of keeping the hijack to a minimum, check your PM for some intel.

MXR Carbon Copy

(I am a 2 pedal man, but that is the one I love the most - Usually set to very subtle levels. You only know it is there when I turn it off)

I'm going to go with a chorus pedal - I loves me some cheesy 80s music.

Electro Harmonix Q-Tron

I use several effects. As I'm big into funk I'd say my goto pedal is my Q-Tron. I'm sure there are other good filters out there but the Q-Tron is pretty hot and with the settings just right you get the filter without losing any volume.

I actually only have one pedal (besides a Pichblack tuner), the Eden WTDI. I am not much of one for sound effects so I just need something for tone control & the WTDI gives me just that. I also run this unit thru the effects return on my amp bypassing the amp's preamp. For more power I have a 500w stereo power amp.

A good tuner.

If I could only have two, second choice would be a TAFM.

I am not much of an effect user but,I somehow own 9 pedals..lol..of the 9 pedals I own, my "only one" choice would be my MXR M80..and that includes a tuner..that's what ears are for..

Mine's supposed to be coming in today, wondering if it'll do the same for me...?

Absolutely. The mids knob is the way to go. Which is why I love my EQD Hoof. It is labeled Shift on the Hoof, but it is a mids knob. I maybe shouldn't say the Hoof, because I never use it live, but if I can only have one, I would definitely keep that one.
