If your pedals all died, would you get the same ones back or new different ones? Give some details.
I'm wanting to see what pedals people cant live without.
I have a Boss PS-3 and Boss PW-2 that i would buy back for sure. My Boss NS-2 and Boss ODB-3 are questionable.

Bassballs I might swap for a TWA Little Dipper if I ever actually get to hear one. GodLyke - where is this pedal?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?
I don't have any other pedals at the moment - sold loads. Oh I've got a new XO BMS on the way to replace my older BMS, so I suppose that answers that one. |

If the question was "Suppose you had the money back that you spent on your pedals originally, would you buy the same ones?" then by and large I'd say yes. (Or at least I would have. I'm overhauling my board so it's a hard question to answer either way)
But if the question is, "Your pedals died. Would you buy them again?" the answer would be no for a lot of them. Number one, the cost would be very high and I don't think I'd be willing to pay it. I'd go with cheaper alternatives for most of them. Plus, it's always hard to buy the same thing again. Like when I had CDs stolen in college. I had a hard time plunking down money for the same albums I'd already heard a hundred times. I bought some of them back, but it was one of the few times I've used filesharing (Napster at the time) instead of buying music. |

Look my last count was about 54 boxes, some are really rare and hard to find, some are home made. Just the idea of having to find all that stuff again then spend all the money, all the time researching....................................... .
Answer: no other then a few "core" boxes I would have to start all over again |

Now that I think about it though, the pedals that I would like to replace, would be really hard to replace due to being discontinued and rare.

I wouldn't buy the EBS Microbass II again because for what I use it for (switching between upright and electric), a Radial Bassbone would have done the job for $200 less, and I wouldn't buy the vintage Deluxe Electric Mistress again because vintage EH effects are noisy, have crappy bypassing, and are very hard to work with in today's world.

Everything else is negligible. |

I don't really use the rest anymore.

Boss NS-2 (Can't live without it now)
Homebrew Hematoma (Best overdrive I've ever heard)
Tech21 Bass VT (nuff said)
I would probably not replace directly:
Ibanez LU-20 (Awesome stomp tuner for $40, but I would probably spend a bit more and get a Pitch Black)
Digitech EX-7 Expression Factory (ridiculously cool pedal, but I just don't use it as much as I thought I would)
Stuff I would have to think about:
Aphex Bass Xciter (I'm not sure if it's as necessary as I tend to think it is)
Digitech BSW (Only because I haven't had it long enough to get familiar with it)
Visual Sound H2O (Awesome sounding chorus, but not quite the delay that I want) |

THe only one I'd consider not replacing is the Arion. I'd try to find another analog delay or another headrush. I love the tape echo setting on it. |
