...it has a younger brother

Yay, it matches!
It makes the TAFM look like the tame, sits-at-home-and-studies-all-day older brother.

I still have to try the TAFM one of these days. How is this compared to the 2525? I can only go by the provided guitard clips.
Speaking of clips... make some

Totally different beasts. TAFM is a big bad germanium fuzz machine (really, that's the best I can describe it). 2525 is a freq-nasty noise box of doom. 4545 is one step beyond. Best I can do for clips is video (which is a PAIN), but I'll see what I can do.

Oh yeah, Steev, you bought the octavedude? I hope you have a TAFM to complete the trifecta of doom.

SS/BS is making an octaver too, or are you two talking about a totally different builder?

Also, is the 4545 a modded/upgraded 2525?

If E-Rock don't get to it, I'll try to do some next week when my SS/BS pedals come in!

The 4545 is an expanded 2525, yes. If you listen to the song "year 2525" by Zager & Evans (which is what inspired the name), it'll all make sense: Clicky!

The gughuuughg is ss/bs's octaver. Only one made so far, to my recollection..

Steev,
is yours -1/-2 octaves, or did you end up getting it modded for +1/-1 octave?

Edit: Steev's is #2 I think, the first with +1/-1 octave. #1 has -1/-2 octaves.
I remember seeing #1 for sale, but now all of a sudden I'm much more GASing for one X_X Brian's getting a lot of business from me

Here is the gughuuughg (#1)

So if I record my next demo drunk, it'll be more apt to consider them Behndyriffs?

ON TOPIC: I think I've discovered some more tricks...The X oscillator cascades INTO the Y oscillator. Maxing either oscillator almost gates that oscillator. Some days I just wanna throw this thing for unusability...then most other days I actually make sense and love this little bugger!!

urm... start playing bass, naked, with embarrassing erotic material laying around. have your mother accidentally walk in. the sound of your hands spasming in horror on the fingerboard? THAT'S what i sound like.

i feel you on the Hidden Depths. i've been wonking away on this Ugly Face i just picked up. it's... neat. sometimes. and other times a useless binnable MESS. but mostly awesome.
