Check out Crowther's Prunes and Custard, it's a civilised modulating distortion overdrive thing, you'll either totally dig it or go "meh, what was that downundernutter on about?". It goes extra good into chorus.

| | | | I voted EF, and the Proton is a great sounding, easy to dial in, flexible EF for sure. If you want more options and tones, maybe the SubDecay Prometheus (same company that makes that phaser you're thinking of), WMD Super Fatman, Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe, or Source Audio Bass Envelope Filter Pro, or 3Leaf's more full-featured EF the Wonderlove.

| | | | Two more phasers you should check out :
- the Empress Phaser, very versatile and controllable with an expression pedal, tap tempo;
- and IMO the most inspiring model out there : the Blackout Effectors Whetstone (or Sibling, the smaller and simpler version but same terrific DNA) |

| | | | I see but I thought the Sibling costs less than that (?). What about Infanem's Faye Sing (the Faye's Her would be too much), it's a Musitronics Phaser clone (with a couple of mods if I'm not mistaken)? |

Will probably end up with the filter too, but I think for now it's the phaser. Only real question will be which one, lol.

I'm sure a Proton won't be too far behind, but for now I am going to spend some time enjoying my newly addended pedal board: B3K > Corona Chorus > Baby Quasar (when it arrives in a few days ) > Phat Phuk B.
