If you were to only have one pedal...what would it be?

Other than a tuner of course! If you were to only have one pedal/effect box what would it be and why?

A fuzz pedal probably. It's my most used effect.

Well, I have my Black Finger compressor on all the time so I guess that would be it. But really it just ads a little flavor and punch to the sound, so come to think of it my 10 band EQ pedal might actually be more important as it is required in a few songs to get a deeper softer sound opposed to my normal aggressive higher midrangey sound.

BDDI or equivalent (e.g. BDI21) because it provides tone shaping, overdrive, and a DI. Kinda like a compressor too, but. . . .

Although I have a dozen stompboxes and it seems like I never use a straight clean tone...I'd have to say a tuner. Hard to sound good when you are not in tune.

Similar threads come up every so often and I always end up answering the same thing: SansAmp PBDDI. And if I'm not mistaken, these units do provide light natural compression.

POG-2. May not be the conventional choice, but it lets me add a thick keyboard sound at times, which is very helpful in my regular band. Great pedal.

Not surprised to learn this, but good to know.
