Hey you all.

I always reach for our data bass before buying a pedal.

Being a member for more than two years, I guess it's time to start recording clips to help other fellow compulsive buyer bass players.


So, I'll record clips of the following pedals:

-EHX BMS
-Dunlop 105Q
-Xotic Rc Booster
-Fishman Pro Platinum Eq.
-Boss PH-3 Phaser
-Guyatone FL-3 Flanger
-Boss DD-3
-Boss OD-3 Overdrive
-Dunlop GCB-95
-Boss ME-6B

It isn't the most impressive collection of pedals, but it's all that I've got at the moment.

Any special setting requests or can I just play weird sci fi esque sounds for 30 seconds with each pedal?

Can you get any dirt out of that Xotic RC Booster? I've owned the BB Booster which of course can provide a lot of dirt, but I'm not as familiar with the RC.

Will you record some clips of the synth section on the ME6B, I could never get mine to sound good.

I can get from a slight to mild overdrive, nothing heavy tough.

Of course.

Seems like most of the people buying the ME6B and 8B are looking for some nice synth sounds.

With a little tweaking is possible to get good sounds out of it.

I guess just have a listen to the clips that are already up there, and try and do something different!

I'm probably most interested to hear the Guyatone flanger, but I'm also curious as to how your PH-3 sounds through your rig. I'm liking mine a good deal.

I've always loved modulation after delay, so if you could do some bass -> dd-3 -> fl-3, that would rock

I try to do different threads for different pedals, just so it's easier for someone to find them in a search say if they search for thread titles containing the name of a pedal. I wouldn't doubt someone would find it annoying, but no one's complained to me yet.
