Yes.
No.
Yes.

There are technically five pedals at work, but only four are really noticeable.

I guess this is harder to do after you post your board.

Yep.

The other two in that clip are the Empress Superdelay (a bit of a subtle delay) and the Barge VB-jr. The Barge was basically just blending the PS-3 a bit with some clean signal (about 75% wet).

The PS-3 has it's own blend but it isn't as effective as the VB-jr, plus putting it in the Barge's loop keeps a questionable bypass out of my signal chain when not in use.

The whole chain was Barge (PS-3 in loop) --> Maxon PH-350 --> Empress Tremolo -->Empress Superdelay. I may have had my compressor on too (Frantone Sandwich) but I don't remember. I was a bit drunk.

Ok, somebody else post a clip.

I SAID somebody else post a clip. I don't care if it's been four years.

Alright, I'll give this thread one more try and then let it die a natural death if need be.

Here's a clip from me.

Is it two pedals?
Is there a delay?
Is there a flanger?

Is this a fair start

fuzz>filter>phaser>delay?

Is there parallel channels or is it just a low cut on the delay?

Bam. That's the exact chain. The delay has a high pass filter engaged.

Unfortunately, my knowledge of the nuances of the newest pedals is pretty weak. I'll just throw some junk out there based on my (probably outdated) knowledge of you and hope for the best.

I'll say that's close enough, especially for a slightly older clip.

It was Brown Dog>Xerograph>Keeley Phaser>Superdelay

In fact I think if this thread moves forward we should call it good when someone gets the right effect type and the right order and not worry about the exact pedals.

Have you got a clip to share?

Nothing where the description on the page doesn't spell out the chain or that I haven't forgotten the chain. I may try to throw something together later today.

Everything here has some interesting chains, although they either wont be a guessing game, or they'll be as much of a guessing game for you as for me .

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...?bandID=964374

EDIT::: FWIW, only the drum machine on Decepticon and Rubber, the vocals on Rubber, and the Ring Mod Static on Schizophrenic are not originated from a bass guitar.

DOUBLE SECRET EDIT::: On schizophrenic there are 3 distinct sounds outside of the ring mod static although one of those sounds contributes to two tracks (with slight variation). You can work on those chains. There is one thing that all three have in common, but it is a very unusual setup.

If I'm feeling ambitious later today I may take a crack at the chain for "Michael Bay is a Decepticon" but for now I'm just listening and digging the tracks. Nice stuff. I dig the slap & delay on Rubber.

Thanks. Unfortunately there's like 8 tracks on that bad boy so you'll have to be selective.
